Our Green Policy
In an effort to help our customers achieve their environmental goals we now offer a range of carpets made from 80% British wool (helping sheep farmers in Britain to stay in business), which use an enviroback. This backing is woven as part of the carpet and therefore does not require the use of latex, greatly reducing carbon emissions during its manufacture. We recycle all the cardboard tubing that comes to us inside the cut-length orders and are investigating the recycling of carpet waste.
We now offer eco-felt products made from recycled wool carpet yarn and recycled lorry tyres. These luxury products are not only of very high quality and save 1000s of tons of landfill annually but at the end of their lives they are once again 100% recyclable. Only by offering products like these today can we help ensure a better tomorrow.
